By participating in this vigil on the Brookfield Common\, we will demonstrate that we will continue to resist the forces that led to the insurrection a year ago. We will urge our elected leaders to pass legislation to protect our country from anti-democratic forces. \nMeet by the cupola on the Brookfield Common at 5:30. We encourage participants to wear bright orange or yellow for visibility near traffic. \nWe will have candles and sand in paper bags for lanterns\, candles in cups to hold safely\, and a solar light to illuminate a large sign.
