Trees Are Treasures Earth Day Celebration
Wells State Park 159 Walker Pond Rd, SturbridgeGrassroots Central Mass (GCM) will continue its tradition of celebrating Earth Day with its third “Trees Are Treasures” event on Saturday, April 22nd from 11 a.m.-4:00 p.m., at Wells State Park in Sturbridge. Take a family-friendly stroll along the Mill Pond Trail and meet a reformed, tree-loving logger and the Lady of the Wetlands. Walk through the park and hear a naturalist describe its history from the Ice Age to the building of the stone walls which are ubiquitous in our area.
