The proposed siting of large Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in our rural towns has caused much anxiety and generated strong opposition. The Climate Committee has engaged environmental activist Becca Glenn to offer her perspective on the need for these types of facilities. Here is a chance for you to listen to an advocate for renewable energy and to ask questions about the safety and cost of these projects.
