Central Mass stands united for No Kings Day

By Colin Brown

On June 14, 2025, Central Massachusetts rose up and joined the nation for No Kings Day, a powerful day of protest against authoritarianism, the Trump administration, and any attempt to undermine our democracy.

From small towns to our cities, Grassroots Central Mass members showed up in force to say NO to authoritarianism. NO to Trump. NO kings—then or now.

🌟 Worcester saw over 4,000 people flood the streets, with powerful words from speakers like Congressman Jim McGovern.

🌱 Leicester showed up strong with over 100 participants.

💪 In Belchertown, more than 500 gathered in solidarity.

🙌 Charlton turned out with over 330 people.

📢 Springfield brought the energy with over 2,000 protesters.

✊ And in Barre, over 200 stood together for democracy.

This wasn’t just a protest—it was a movement. Central Mass sent a message loud and clear:

We will not bow to tyranny. We will defend our rights. We believe in democracy.

Thank you to every organizer, speaker, and protester who made this moment possible. Let’s keep building. Let’s keep fighting. This is how we win.
