Sunday, October 1, 1-3 p.m., West Brookfield Town Hall
We here in New England pride ourselves on being self-sufficient and planful. Of course, in order to plan for the future, as residents we must make choices based on information. That information must come from trusted sources! This community-based forum is designed to give you the latest, most trustworthy, information about: 1. renewable energy (wind, solar, geothermal) so that you can better plan to make informed choices about when or whether to choose it; 2. planting and landscaping choices based on the long-term weather predictions; 3. how or even if to prepare for those predicted long-term weather changes; 4. free and/or inexpensive ways to save on heating and electric bills that also reduce the carbon footprint.
If you want to save money on your monthly bills; if you want to get an idea of what to plant in your garden and when; if you want information about long-term likely weather trends; if you want to know about available funds for town infrastructure, THIS is a FORUM you don’t want to miss!!
